Semitruck stuck on road barrier in Midtown Tulsa, police brought a crane in to remove it

TULSA, Okla. — Police say a semitruck had to be lifted off a road barrier by crane after the driver tried to turn through a roundabout in Midtown Tulsa Wednesday night.

The truck driver was on I-44 eastbound when he got off at Lewis Avenue. He was heading towards the Pepsi plant in West Tulsa when he tried to take the roundabout to get back onto I-44.

That’s when his trailer went onto the concrete road barrier and got stuck there.

Police had to bring in a crane to remove the truck.

No one was injured and no other cars were involved, according to Tulsa police.

The truck is now off the barrier, but the trailer is still on the road. It will have to be towed away.
