Sand Springs Animal Welfare overwhelmed with cats, looking for financial aid to clear shelter

Local animal shelter has too many cats

SAND SPRINGS, Okla. — Sand Springs Animal Welfare says it’s overwhelmed with cats and kittens and is hoping some new financial aid can help them take steps towards clearing the shelter during the pandemic.

Greater Good-Clear the Shelter has a campaign going on right now that is matching donations to shelters up to $10,000.

Sand Springs hopes to use this money for medical expenses for their pets and for their cat program, the spay, and neutering of feral cats.
