TULSA, Okla. — Two people were killed in a rollover crash that shut down multiple lanes of traffic on the Creek Turnpike in south Tulsa on Monday morning.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol shut the roadway down around 6 a.m. after the crash.
Troopers say a man and woman were in the car when witnesses say they saw the driver veer off the road, up the side of a bridge before landing upside down on the highway.
The car fell about 18 feet, killing 28-year-old Devin Hughes and 36-year-old Jennifer Hughes.
The cause of the crash hasn’t been determined.
All lanes of the turnpike reopened around 9 a.m.
