TULSA, Okla. — Just six episodes into its pilot season, Reservation Dogs has been renewed for a second season.
The series, which was co-written by Taika Waititi and Oklahoma-native Sterlin Harjo, was shot in Okmulgee. It features an all-indigenous cast and crew. The plot centers around a group of indigenous friends growing up together on a reservation in Oklahoma.
Tulsa’s own Circle Cinemas screened the FX show’s first three episodes last month.
Reservation Dogs has been met with raving reviews, even receiving 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
