Quarantine sweet tooth? Girl Scout Cookies are still for sale despite pandemic

Coronavirus forces Girl Scouts to take cookie sales online

TULSA, Okla. — The Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma are altering the way they finish their cookie-selling season as the coronavirus pandemic keeps people from their product.

The organization has now moved all sales online and they are hoping to still sell another 14,000 packages of cookies.

The organization plans to take the donated cookies and drop them off at local hospitals and health care facilities.

The money from the cookie sales goes toward activities for the girls in the organization -- topics include STEM, art and leadership.

The sales run through the end of May. You can purchase cookies at https://www.gseok.org/
