Police searching for man who robbed Tulsa QuikTrip

TULSA, Okla. — Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a Tulsa QuikTrip overnight.

Police were called to a QuikTrip at 7 N. Yale around 1 a.m. when a QT employee said a man with a gun demanded money from the cash register.

The QT employee told police he gave the man the cash drawer and the man left running east from the store.

Police said the man was wearing blue athletic style pants and a red and white hooded sweatshirt.

K-9 officers responded to the scene and attempted to track the suspect but were not successful, police said.

Police said officers walked in the area where the man was last seen and discovered a loaded Hi-Point pistol magazine just to the north east of the QuikTrip.
