One person died Sunday from a gunshot wound, and the presumed shooter is now dead, according to police.
Tulsa police responded to a person shot at the 2700 block of East Haskell Street on Sunday just after 8 a.m.
Police told FOX23 that shooting victim later died.
Police identified the victim late Sunday as 38-year-old Zachary Rivera.
TPD said that the suspect complained that Rivera’s music was too loud.
Police said later that the two lived in the same duplex and shared a wall.
TPD said that Rivera went next door to talk to Jeyhun Valizada, then Valizada fatally shot Rivera.
Police said that the suspect was armed and barricaded inside of the residence for many hours before taking his own life.
TPD Special Operations Team used tear gas to try to get the suspect out of the house.
Police say the suspect took his own life sometime after 1 p.m.
TPD breached the home and found Valizada dead inside from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
