Police remind people to watch surroundings after armed robbery

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police are urging people to stay vigilant after an armed robbery Tuesday.

Police responded to the Quick Trip at 15th & Denver for reports of a robbery.

They say the victim told them that the suspect, Eugene Harris, approached him and demanded money.

The victim says he told Harris to leave him alone and that’s when Harris pulled a knife on him and threatened to stab him.

The victim says Harris followed him and then fled just before police arrived.

Harris was arrested a few blocks away.
