Police investigating shooting at east Tulsa apartment complex

TULSA, Okla. — Police say they are searching for a suspect that drove up behind someone, shooting them twice, and leaving.

It happened Thursday night when police said they were called to the Sierra Pointe Apartments for a shooting.

After arriving on scene, they said they found one male on the sidewalk with two gunshot wounds.

EMSA was able to quickly arrive on scene and take the victim to the hospital where he was taken into surgery, police said.

Witnesses were able to tell officers that they saw a grey four door Hyundai drive behind the man walking down the sidewalk, shoot him twice, and then drive away, reportedly

Officers said since no words were exchanged that they think this could be an ongoing dispute.

Police are unsure of the condition of the victim at this time.
