Police issue warrant in connection to deadly shooting at Tulsa apartment complex

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police have issued a warrant for Jalen Mack, 20, in connection to a deadly shooting at the Savannah Landing Apartments.

Police were called to the complex near 61st and South Peoria around 12 a.m. Wednesday, July 14.

Police said a man, later identified as Kourtland McFrazier, 18, was shot at the complex and taken to the hospital where he later died.

Homicide detectives say they are going through surveillance video to gather more information.

Police officers were at the complex for several hours looking into what led up to the shooting.

Neighbors said they heard 10 to 12 gunshots when it happened.

The warrants has charges of murder in the first degree, use of a vehicle in the discharge of a weapon (three counts), possession of a firearm after juvenile adjudication and possession of a stolen vehicle.
