• Police: 8th incident connected to serial assault suspect

    TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa police said in a statement that a sexual assault that occurred Sunday is the eighth incident that is connected to the serial assault suspect.

    Officers said at approximately 5:30 a.m., they responded to a sexual assault in the 1200 block of S. 75th E. Ave. The victim is a 60-year-old woman who was home alone.

    The suspect's actions and statements during the assault are consistent with the serial assault suspect, police said.

    The victim told police that in low-light conditions the suspect appeared to be a light skinned black male, 5'8" tall, thin built with muscular arms, no facial hair and short hair, police said.

    Police said the suspect was wearing long basketball-style shorts, a t--shirt and tennis shoes. Police said the suspect's face was partially covered.
