• Parent removes daughter from Tulsa elementary school after bullying incident

    TULSA, Okla. - Quick facts:

    • One mother said her daughter was bullied at an area elementary school and teachers did not help.

    • She later transferred her daughter.

    Marshall Elementary School in Tulsa is under fire after allegations of bullying.

    One mother reached out to FOX23 and said her second grade daughter had been bullied to the point that she would have to change schools.

    Cell phone video showed her daughter getting kicked and bullied on the playground at school. The mother said teachers did not step in to stop the bullying.

    The mother claimed she reported the situation to the school three times since it happened last week.

    Officials from Tulsa Public Schools agreed that there was a problem. The students held responsible were suspended. School officials said they do not tolerate bullying.

    The mother has since transferred her daughter to another school.
