NORMAN, Okla. — An OU football player collapsed at the end of a team workout Thursday morning and was taken to the hospital.
According to multiple reports -- including from KOCO and SoonerScoop -- that player is former Booker T. Hornet Gentry Williams. He's a sophomore defensive back for the Sooners.
OU has not officially released the name of the player but did say in a statement that he has since been released from the hospital and will spend spring break with his family.
The Sooners are scheduled to start spring football practice on March 22.
