Oklahoma State Fair canceled due to COVID-19

OKLAHOMA CITY — Organizers announced the cancellation of the 2020 Oklahoma State Fair on Friday due to concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.

“We look forward to brighter, better days ahead when we can gather again to celebrate all that is exceptional about Oklahoma City and the State of Oklahoma,” President & CEO of the fair Timothy J. O’Toole says.

New COVID-19 cases have surged in Oklahoma since the state reopened its economy.

The fair is expected to go on as planned in 2021.
