Oklahoma Historical Society reopening museums and historic sites

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Historical Society announced Thursday it will begin the process for reopening their museums and historic sites to the public.

The process will begin June 1 when the museum galleries of the Oklahoma History Center in Oklahoma City reopens to visitors.

All other OHS affiliates, museums, and historic sites are reopening June 2.

Despite the reopenings, all OHS-sponsored events at their sites are canceled or postponed through July 31.

Staff at all of their sites will wear masks and they are asking any visitors to do the same.
