TULSA, Okla. — Officers are investigating a deadly crash near 11th and 161st.

Police say three people were in the car. The female drive got ejected from the car and died on the scene, another female died in hospital and the third man died in the hospital.

Officers say they tried to stop the stolen car around 3 p.m. Saturday near 11th and Lynn Lane.

Officers are calling it a semi pursuit, meaning they weren’t chasing them when the crash happened. When the suspects saw the police, they started driving around 100 mph, swiped another car, lost control and crashed into a tree.

The people were causing trouble around town all day, according to police.

Around 2 p.m. police were called by staff at Studio 6 Motel, 8181 E 41 St., who said a white truck hit a motel sign and left the scene. When police got to the hotel, they found the man who owned the car in the lobby of the motel. He told them a woman took his 2019 Subaru Impreza without permission. He used GPS in the car to find it and told police.

Officers were later called to QuikTrip, near Admiral and Highway 112, but the suspects already left before they got there. They found the car near E 11 St. and S. Lynn Lane Rd. When they tried to stop the car, the driver sped off. Officers lost sight of the vehicle and when they found them about 30 seconds later, they found out the car had sideswiped another car, then ran off the road and hit trees.

There were no IDs found in the car, they haven’t identified any people.

FOX23 went to the scene.
