• Nearly 200 Tulsa first responders compete in fitness challenge


    TULSA, Okla. - Close to 200 of Tulsa’s first responders dedicated the past 25 weeks to improving their health to make your city safer.

    Members of Tulsa fire and police departments as well as EMSA participated in the Fit First Responders Challenge.

    The challenge included daily workouts, a nutrition program and a lot of discipline.

    The winner of the competition, firefighter Michael McClendon took home a new $40,000 Chevrolet truck.
