Muskogee park getting $780,000 of renovations

MUSKOGEE, Okla. — Muskogee Jamie Stout, Ward 2 City Councilor says Grandview Park in Muskogee will be redeveloped into a bike park, open sports field and playground. Currently the area is just a couple of unused, softball fields.

The project is currently in the design phase and is expected to take a year to be complete.

The park near Hilldale Public Schools, South of 315 Peak Boulevard received $780,000 worth of grants to build. Stout says it will give the kids in south Muskogee something more to do. He believes it will also attract bicyclists and walkers and joggers.
