MUSKOGEE, Okla. — Muskogee High School’s varsity football game scheduled for Friday night is postponed due to the county’s COVID-19 status.

The game against Putnam City West will be rescheduled for a Monday this season, according to Muskogee Public Schools.

“Putnam City School District policy prevents their teams from participating against another school that resides in a county with COVID-19 cases above Orange Level Two (25 cases per 100,000 or higher). Muskogee County has remained in Orange Level Two as designated by the Oklahoma State Department’s safety protocols guidance and the county level case data as reported by the state Health Department.”
