WEBERS FALLS, Okla. - Three people are dead in a remote part of Muskogee County after what deputies believe was a double murder-suicide.

Deputies were at the home near Webers Falls for much of Saturday morning and in the afternoon. They told FOX23 a woman shot and killed both of her adult sons before turning the gun on herself.

The bodies were identified as Beckie Brown-Smith and Levi and Garrett Brown.

Deputy Chief Brandon Castor said it is believed Smith shot her sons while they were sleeping and then killed herself.

A note was found but officials are still searching for a motive.

Officials learned the two men were in their mid-20s and had been living with their mother after going through recent marital troubles.
