MUSKOGEE, Okla. — The Muskogee City Council voted 5-4 to lift Muskogee’s mask mandate in city limits Monday.
The mask mandate was set to expire April 26, but has already ended.
The vote to lift the mask mandate is based on Muskogee City-County’s task force recommendation, which encourages mask wearing in city limits.
The resolution allows business owners to come up with their own mask policies if they choose. Masks are not required in outdoor areas in city limits but IS required inside city and county buildings.
