Man wanted for lewd molestation hits deputy patrol car in Tulsa County chase

GLENPOOL, Okla. — A man is in custody Tuesday after a chase through Tulsa County involving multiple law enforcement agencies.

The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office told FOX23 that U.S. Marshals and local deputies were serving a warrant in the Berryhill area for lewd molestation out of Pittsburg County.

The warrant led authorities to a chase through Tulsa County.

Deputies say stop sticks set by Glenpool police likely stopped the driver, but not before they say he ran into a U.S. Marshal car and Tulsa County patrol car.

No serious injuries were reported.

The sheriff’s office hasn’t released the man’s name.
