Man dead, midtown Tulsa home catches fire twice

VIDEO: House burns again hours after man dies in fire in midtown Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — A man is dead after a house fire in midtown Tulsa Tuesday that reignited Wednesday morning.

Firefighters were called to the home near 21st and Harvard around 6 p.m. Tuesday. The man’s daughter was driving by to check on him when she saw smoke coming from the house.

Firefighters quickly found the man inside and tried to treat him outside the home before paramedics took him to the hospital where he died.

The same house reignited around 12 a.m. Wednesday.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation and the man who died has not been identified.
