Man arrested for meth trafficking twice in the same week

TULSA, Okla. — A man was arrested by Tulsa police for meth trafficking twice in the same week.

On Monday, police officers with the street crimes unit were patrolling motels near 31st Street and Memorial Drive and noticed a man going from motel to motel, police said.

Police said they stopped the man, who was identified as Everett Lee Warren and found a loaded gun and 5 ounces of meth.

Warren was arrested on drug and firearm charges and bonded out three hours later, according to jail records.

Warren was arrested again Thursday at a motel near 31st Street and Memorial Drive after police were serving a warrant, police said.

Police said they found 29 grams of meth and a loaded gun.

Warren was arrested for meth trafficking and possession of a firearm and is currently in the Tulsa County jail on $54,000 bond, according to jail records.
