• League of Women Voters release voters' guide


    TULSA, Okla. - Voters in Tulsa can prepare for the upcoming general election by visiting the League of Women Voters’ online voters’ guide, VOTE411.org.

    At this site, citizens can find their polling place, check voting hours, learn about the candidates, get information about the three state questions that will be on the ballot and read tips about voting in Oklahoma. The League will release a printed edition voters’ guide beginning October 23.

    “Educated and informed voters are the key to our democracy,” said Kathleen Kastelic, President of the League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Tulsa. “The League works all year, every year, to encourage all eligible voters to participate in our political system.”

    “Voters need simple, helpful tools to help them navigate the voting process and Election Day,” said Mary Jane Lindaman, the League's voter service chair. “VOTE411.org is the nation’s premiere online election resource, and the League has provided information on the candidates running for office on VOTE411.org so that it can serve as a resource for all of Oklahoma's voters. Simply enter your address for your customized information.”
