PAWHUSKA, Okla. — A Pawhuska laundromat will be transformed into a blacksmith shop for the upcoming “Killers of the Flower Moon” movie.

Bruce Malone, owner of Osage Laundry, said scouts for the film called him last November and will be back in Pawhuska next month.

He said the production wants to build a façade in front of his store that will look like a blacksmith shop. The existing structure of the building won’t be changed.

Malone told FOX23 that customers may be inconvenienced for a short time, but he believes the project is good for the community in the long run.
