JENKS, Okla. — Quick Facts:
- Twenty 5th and 6th grade students in Jenks are now published authors.
- Students at Jenks West Intermediate School participated in the National Novel Writing Month Project in November.
- They had the month of November to start and finish full novels.
- The project is self-led but teachers advised the students on how to develop their ideas, follow through, and set reachable goals.
- Students presented the novels Thursday and they are available at the school library.
- The school will participate in the project again next year.
