Jenks coffee shop gears up for the holiday season

JENKS, Okla. — The Gypsy Coffee House in Jenks is hoping to cheer up the community through elaborate holiday decor. The coffee shop is the second like it, the first in Downtown Tulsa.

Taylor Williams is the general manager of the Jenks cafe. She manages the store with the help of her husband and children.

The store only opened about 6 months ago, mid-pandemic. Williams said it’s been difficult to be a small business during this time.

In an effort to perk up the community during what’s been a difficult almost two years, Williams and her team decided to go all out with holiday decor inside the shop. -Inside you’ll find ornaments and lights lining the ceiling, figurines and stockings on the walls, trains lining tables and even presents on shelves.

Williams told FOX23 she wants the store to feel like a comforting and accepting place for all customers and their families.

The shop is also taking part in a local toy drive with other small businesses. They’re asking for new, unwrapped toys and gift cards through late December.
