Gov. Stitt calls for special audit of Tulsa Public Schools

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt is calling for a special audit of Tulsa Public Schools.

In a tweet, Gov. Stitt accused TPS of mishandling public funds. Gov. Stitt also accuses TPS of teaching critical race theory.

Last year, the Oklahoma Board of Education approved emergency rules surrounding House Bill 1775, which bans Oklahoma schools from teaching CRT or certain topics involving race or gender.

This is a developing story.
