Garbage truck drags power lines, knocking out power to more than 300 in south Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — More than 300 PSO customers were without power on Tuesday morning after a garbage truck dragged power lines down in south Tulsa.

PSO says about 350 were without power after the power lines went down while emptying trash around 6:30 a.m. near 51st Street and Yale.

Two poles and power lines were brought down.

No one was hurt, but crews on-site said it would take a lot of the day to make repairs and restore power to the two businesses nearby.
