TULSA, Okla. — Muncie Power Products broke ground Thursday morning on a new 250,000 square-foot facility in north Tulsa at the new Peoria-Mohawk Business Park near Peoria and Mohawk.
The facility will be used for manufacturing machinery, equipment assembly, and warehousing.
Muncie is the first business to break ground in the new 120-acre business park which is a joint project between the City of Tulsa and the George Kaiser Family Foundation.
Muncie is receiving $10 million in Vision Tulsa funding for the project and says eventually they will add jobs since their new facility is twice the size of the old facility.
The goal of the business park is to revitalize north Tulsa, bring jobs and economic growth to the area.
The facility is expected to open in the Spring of 2021.
