Extras needed for new FX show being filmed in parts of Green Country

OKMULGEE COUNTY, Okla. — Freihofer Casting is looking for extras to be in the new FX television show, Reservation Dogs, being filmed in parts of northeast Oklahoma.

The comedy series is about four Native American teenagers growing up on a reservation in eastern Oklahoma. Pay for extras is a guarantee of $80 a day for up to eight hours of filming. Anything over eight hours will incur additional compensation.

TV crews say the show will be filmed in parts of Okmulgee and Tulsa and that filming starts Friday, April 19th and goes until April 27th, per casting sheet.

The FX television series is executively produced by Taika Waititi. It is written, directed and produced by award-winning Oklahoma filmmaker Sterlin Harjo.
