Premier date set for FX show shot in Green Country

OKMULGEE COUNTY, Okla. — FX television show, Reservation dogs, will make its streaming debut August 9, 2021.

The comedy series is about four Native American teenagers growing up on a reservation in eastern Oklahoma.

TV crews filmed parts of the show in Okmulgee in April.

The FX television series is produced by Taika Waititi. It is written, directed and produced by award-winning Oklahoma filmmaker Sterlin Harjo.
