Early voting in Muskogee County to take place at Muskogee Civic Center

MUSKOGEE, Okla. — Early voting in Muskogee County will take place at Muskogee Civic Center starting Thursday, Kelly Beach with the Muskogee County Election Board said.

The Muskogee Civic Center is located at 401 Boston St. in Muskogee.

This is a departure from voting at the election board due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Early voting takes place from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday, October 29 and 30 and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Voters still have time to turn in their absentee ballots.

The Muskogee County Election Board has sent out 3,791 absentee ballots and have received 2,465 as of Tuesday, according to the election board.

Monday, Nov. 2 is the last day that you can deliver your standard ballot by hand to the election board office.

Absentee ballots need to be turned into the election board mailbox by 7:00 p.m. on Nov. 3.
