Tulsa County man charged in murder of family members

TULSA, Okla. — A Tulsa County man has been charged in connection with the death of two of his family members, according to court records.

Investigator Casey Roebuck says the Tulsa County deputies found the bodies of Kraig and Sheri Chambers near Vera on Monday.

Law enforcement arrested 32-year-old Wesley Brock Pavey, cousin to the victims, in connection with the investigation.

The couple was reported missing late Saturday, according to the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office.

Roebuck says evidence at the Chambers’ home led TCSO investigators to believe they were in danger.

Pavey allegedly took the couple into their garage after an argument and shot them both to death.

Deputies say Oklahoma City police found Pavey and arrested him on Sunday evening.

According to deputies, Pavey was questioned for quite some time before he finally showed investigators where he dumped the bodies of the couple.

The bodies were found about half a mile from one another both along 3990 Road near West 3900 Road off Highway 75.

Pavey will face two charges of first-degree murder.
