WASHINGTON COUNTY, Okla. — Deputies identified a man Tuesday who is accused of a deadly shooting in Washington County.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says their deputies were called to a home near Highway 75 and W 4050 Lane around 3 p.m. on Monday in response to a shooting.
Deputies say a fight between two men had to be separated by a family member before one of the men, Bailey Keith Wattenbarger, shot and killed a 29-year-old man.
Deputies arrested Wattenbarger who faces charges for first-degree murder. Deputies took him to Washington County Detention Center.
The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
