Economic Recovery Committee comes up with plans for Tulsa businesses

TULSA, Okla. — The Mayors Economic Recovery Advisory Committee released a document with recommendations from Tulsa’s top business leaders on recommendations for companies to get through the pandemic and emerge stronger when it’s over.

The document was released by the city Wednesday.

Twenty-seven Tulsa business leaders make up the committee.

The 32 page document has short term and high term priorities. It includes the importance of grants and long term capital for small businesses. The committee wants to ensure the cities approved 25-50 million dollars from the Tulsa County Cares Act. They also want to make sure businessmen and women have access to online tools to get resources they need.

They also would like to see Tulsa establish an angel network.
