Community honors Collinsville girl who died from cancer

COLLINSVILLE, Okla. — Isabella Henderson, 10, traveled to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital for treatment after doctors diagnosed her with stage four cancer.

Isabella passed away recently and her funeral was at First Church Owasso Saturday morning.

Family and friends described her as a prankster with a brave soul and a beautiful smile.

She was “competitive and compassionate.”

“I don’t think my life will ever be the same," her mom said. "I look forward for the day I see her again.”

Collinsville rallied behind Isabella with fundraisers, like silent auctions and bake sales.

They also wore #IsabellaStrong shirts and Cardinal shirts for Collinsville.

The 10 year old sadly died after a battle with am aggressive form of stage four lung cancer.

By the large number of people at her funeral, you could tell she will live through the lives she changed.
