OWASSO, Okla. — As COVID numbers rise, a lot of local businesses are adapting to new challenges during the pandemic.
An Owasso coffee shop is relocating so they can stay open. Drip says they’re known for being a destination place, where people come to sit and enjoy some food or drinks, so the pandemic’s been challenging.
They don’t have a drive-thru and picking up during curbside has been challenging because of the tight space in their parking lot.
They’ve decided to close both their locations in Tahlequah and Owasso, and open at one location in Claremore. This new location is by the turnpike and it does have a drive-thru.
They’re hoping to bounce back, as the pandemic drags on. They hope to reopen at their new location in a week or two, possibly as early as Friday.
Below is a statement Drip Owasso released on Facebook announcing their closure.
