Claremore city leaders approve citywide mask mandate

CLAREMORE, Okla. — The Claremore City Council voted Friday to implement a citywide mask and social distancing ordinance to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

The ordinance will take effect on December 20 and requires people 10 years and older to wear a mask in a public setting. It also requires people to maintain six feet of distance between persons who are not part of the same household while in public places.
