Wagoner County authorities say an off duty deputy fishing with his family off Highway 69 and the turnpike in the Porter area saw the body and reported it around 9 p.m.

Emergency teams from Wagoner and Muskogee counties searched the river and found the body overnight just outside of Wagoner County.

Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office and Oklahoma Highway Patrol continued Lock and Dam 17 and headed north while Webbers Falls, Cherokee Nation Rescue, and Muskogee Emergency Management will be searching between Lock and Dam 16 and 17 along the river.

“The search area for Miracle and Tony Crook has now dramatically widened,” police said.
