Calif. firefighters who cycled through Tulsa arrive in NYC for 9/11 remembrance

TULSA, Okla. — A group of firefighters who cycled across the country in remembrance of Sept. 11, 2001 have made it to New York City.

Fire Velo started their journey in August in Los Angeles.

They arrived at One World Trade Center on Thursday.

The group made their way through Tulsa as part of the 3,200 mile bike ride.

They said they are hoping to raise $100,000 for four non-profits that help first responders and military affected by the attacks.

You can donate or purchase a commemorative t-shirt on their website www.firevelo.com.
