Police say Markwardt broke through the door and made his way inside, assaulting two people inside as another family member called police.

The man grabbed a golf club and allegedly started hitting Markwardt with it. Officers got to the house to find the man standing over Markwardt holding the club.

Officers say the suspected intruder tried to run away as they used a taser on him, but he was arrested after a short struggle.
