TULSA, Okla. - QUICK FACTS:
- Gathering Place and Cox Communications announced Thursday the launch of the Cox Movie Night Series, beginning June 19 at Gathering Place.
- The series will include eight movies, ranging from family favorites to new classics with something for everyone to enjoy. In addition to the FREE movie showing, the Gathering Place Programming team in partnership with Cox will bring free added entertainment in theme with the feature film.
Below is a list of the scheduled movie nights:
6/19- Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (PG)
7/17- How to Train Your Dragon 3: The Hidden World (PG)
7/31- Dog Play Wednesday: The Secret Life of Pets (PG)
8/21- Dumbo/ 2019 (PG)
9/18- The Little Mermaid (G)
10/16- Avengers: End Game (PG- 13)
10/25- Spooky Street Double Feature: Casper (PG) and Ghostbusters/ 2016 (PG-13)
“We are thrilled to be able to bring such a phenomenal family experience to Gathering Place, said Tiffani Bruton, director of public affairs for Cox. “Our hope is families from every corner of the community will come together to connect, enjoy a movie on the lawn and make lasting memories.”
- Cox Communications is a long-term partner of Gathering Place, providing technology services for the park’s operations, including data circuits for park buildings, video feeds for television monitors, telephone services and guest Wi-Fi inside the Williams Lodge and ONEOK Boathouse. This new addition to the partnership provides funding for the LED Screen and movie night series through 2021. This partnership will allow Gathering Place to further the mission of the Park to bring a world-class experience to all visitors.
