Friends search for missing friend who hasn’t been seen since Thursday morning in Claremore

CLAREMORE, Okla. — Andrew Todhunter owns a marijuana grow operation called Flowerbomb Craft Cannabis in Oolagah, Okla. and says Mark Montgomery works there and they are very good friends.

The last time Todhunter saw his close friend was on Wednesday around 3 p.m. when he left work.

Montgomery’s roommate said that he left for work as usual on Thursday around 8:30 a.m. from his home in Claremore.

“There is surveillance footage of him leaving in his car. Mark drives a two-door Chrysler Crossfire,” said Todhunter.

Montgomery never made it to work.

“I’ve known him for almost 15 years and he was only late twice for about three minutes. He is the most squared away, nicest guy you’ll ever meet,” said Todhunter.

Several social media alerts from concerned friends and co-workers have been posted with Montgomery’s photos asking the public if anyone has seen him.

Claremore Police Department confirmed that friends of Montgomery filed a missing person report on Thursday in the early afternoon. At this time investigators say it is too early to believe that foul play involved, but authorities are looking into the case.

As far as his friend just running off and not contacting anyone, Todhunter said that Montgomery isn’t like that.

“He’s never done that before,” said Todhunter.

Todhunter said he did receive a couple of calls about a possible sighting on Riverside. But, the man didn’t end up being Montgomery.

He also thought Montgomery may have got into a car accident on the way to work. But, when he called dispatch there was only one report of a crash along the route to his work, and it involved a different vehicle and the driver’s I.D. did not match his friend’s.

Montgomery is around 6′1, with light brown/blonde hair, usually worn in a bun. He is a personal trainer who weighs about 175-180 lbs. He usually wears a Fighting Flower or a FlowerBomb shirt with tan boots and Dre Beats headphones..
