Judge orders Jeff Lowe, of ‘Tiger King’ fame, to pay PETA more than $183,000

A judge has ordered Jeff Lowe, of “Tiger King” fame, to pay more than $183,000 to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

The animal rights organization says Lowe cruelly mistreated four lions, which violates the Endangered Species Act lawsuit against him that was filed in February.

The fine will help cover attorney fees and PETA’s efforts to save more animals from roadside zoos.
