The attorney for Tavvareon Dickerson told FOX23 Dickerson will testify during a preliminary hearing slated for 9 a.m.

Police arrested Dickerson in May; his daughter was just 39 days old when she died in January. At the time, Dickerson allegedly said it was a co-sleeping death.

Since then, the medical examiner classified her death as a homicide by blunt impact injuries as well as co-sleeping. Detectives reported bruises on her head and a brain injury.

Dickerson was bound over for trial.
