• Firefighters work to protect Ochelata community from grass fire


    OCHELATA, Ok - Quick Facts:

    • Air tankers are being used to fight a fire on Grave Yard Hill in Washington County.
    • Officials told FOX23 the fire is threatening Ochelata.
    • Firefighters created a barrier along a road to protect the community.
    • 8 fire department responded to the blaze.
    • The fire burned around 800 acres as of Wednesday night.
    • Officials said the fire was about 20 percent contained around 9 p.m.
