• Fire forces several people out of south Tulsa apartments

    TULSA, Okla. - Quick Facts:

    • Firefighters are investigating the cause of a fire that forced several people out of their homes at a south Tulsa apartment complex.
    • Tulsa firefighters responded to the fire at London Square Apartments near 59th and Lewis shortly after 2 a.m.
    • Firefighters told FOX23 the fire started in the living room of a unit with a mother and her child inside.
    • Firefighters said everyone made it out safely.
    • Fire destroyed that unit and damaged at least two more.
    • Firefighters said they had some issues with electricity at the apartments but PSO came out to fix it.
    • London Square Apartments is helping evacuated residents find somewhere to stay.
