TULSA, Okla. — A feed store in north Tulsa has new life after finding another home in the area.
Tulsa Feed found itself on the way out in December 2018 after the local railway took control of the property. The store would have to move or close.
Owner Chuck Jefferson told FOX23 he had planned to shut the store down as he struggled to find a new location.
Jefferson said Wednesday they finally secured a new shop near 36th Street North and Sheridan at an old gas station and restaurant.
He says they have a lot of work left to do but plan to open by the end of the year.
Jefferson says he wanted to keep the store in north Tulsa because they have been in the community for nearly 100 years.
