Family seeks answers in Tulsa father's murder

Quick Facts:
It didn’t sink in until she saw her father’s hat.
Jasmine Cordova learned of her father’s death Sunday morning, when her mother told her. Jose Cordova died in robbery near Tacos Don Francisco at 21st and Memorial.
But the reality of her loss hit her hardest when she saw her father’s hat, which he wore proudly in photos shared with FOX23, lying next to evidence markers.
Tulsa police want to find Cordova’s killer, but say their leads are minimal. They hope anyone with information can help them.
The Cordova family says they can’t understand why the father of two- 15-year-old Jasmine and an 11-year-old son, died in such a crime.
“I don’t really wish this on anybody else, even my enemies,” Jasmine said. “Crazy how you can see someone one day, and the next they’re gone.”
Jasmine said her father was not the type to get into problems. He parked his truck that morning to go inside the restaurant. He never made it inside.
Police believe the killer randomly targeted Cordova for the robbery. Surveillance video shows the thief going through Cordova’s pockets after the ambush.
